Alan R Wheeler

Mr. Alan R. Wheeler, of East Taunton, passed on Sunday June 3rd, 2019 at the age of 74 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. He was the husband of Diane M. Wheeler. Alan was born in Taunton on April 2nd, 1945 the son of the late Ralph and Jessie (Reid) Wheeler. A lifelong city resident, he was educated in Taunton and continued on to obtain his masters degree in Engineering. Prior to his retirement, Alan was an Engineering Manager for many years at Invensys of Foxboro, MA.

Alan was a Life Member of the Middleboro Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and loved to go fishing and boating.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his son: Michael Wheeler his wife Denise of Dighton; his daughter: Lisa DeSantis her husband John of East Taunton; 3 sisters: Audrey McCaffrey of Taunton, Susan O Brien her husband Gene of Taunton, and Betty Meuller her husband Ricky of Foxboro; and 3 grandsons: Dylan DeSantis, Derek DeSantis, and Zachary Wheeler.
