Mr. Edward F. Hebert, of Taunton and Lady Lake, Fla., died unexpectedly April in 16 in Leesburg, Florida. He was the husband of Marilyn (Woodward) Hebert. He was born 73 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Peter J. and Mary F. (Cotter) Hebert. He was educated in Taunton, having attended the former Msgr. James Coye High School, and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a union carpenter for the Carpenters Union, Local 424, for 25 years. He was a member of the Taunton Lodge of Elks. Mr. Hebert enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his family, and, in recent years, spending the winter months in Florida. He was a communicant of St. Pauls Church in Taunton. He leaves: 3 sons: Glen E. Hebert, and his wife, Theresa, of Taunton Jeffrey P. Hebert, and his wife Patricia, of Taunton Dennis M. Hebert, and his wife, Jeanne, of Taunton 1 daughter: Laurie J. Hebert of Harwich A daughter-in-law: Brenda Hebert of Taunton 1 brother: Vincent F. Hebert, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Swansea 2 sisters: Marita Duarte, and her husband Frank, of Falmouth Evelyn Jewell of Indiana several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews Mr. Hebert was also the father of the late Brian F. Hebert and Karen Hebert and the brother of the late Bernard Barney Hebert, Robert Hebert, Peter Hebert, Andrew Hebert, Thomas Hebert and Helen Ames. Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, May 7, at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Pauls Church, Tremont Street (Rt. 140), at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Francis Ceme- tery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
