Fenton Horgan Obituary
Fenton Mickey Horgan, Age 78 of Brockton, passed away on Thursday October 4th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. Born on May 24th, 1940, the son of the late Brian and Alice Horgan. Mickey grew up in Natick and was a graduate of Natick high School. Some of Mickeys favorite past times included Gardening, collecting sports memorabilia and assembling model boats. He was an avid sports fan and loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins. Mickey was also a former member of the Brockton Elks. He enjoyed his retirement and especially enjoyed spending time with his loving angel, partner and friend Betty Ingram.
Mickey was the husband of the late Nancy (Wilson) Horgan. Loving father of Lawrence Shing and his wife Carol of Middleboro; Brenda Coppinger and her husband Kevin of Taunton; Dale Shing and her husband Dave of Taunton; and Candace Fedders and her husband Derek of NH. He is also survived by his son-in-law Paul Morganella of Taunton, many grandchildren, 4 great grand children and many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Brian, John and Marie Horgan.
Visiting hours will take place in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton MA on Saturday, October 13th from 11:00AM-12:00PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 12PM. Burial will follow in the Sampson Cemetery in Lakeville MA. Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend.
