Genevieve Berard Obituary
Genevieve (Souza) Berard of Taunton entered into rest on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Albert J. Berard. Prior to her retirement she had been employed as an assembler for the Foxboro company for 10 years. She was a member of the Senior Veterans Club in Taunton and was a former member of the Coyle High School Mothers Club. Genevieve enjoyed gourmet cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also a communicant of the former St. Jacques parish in Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her two loving sons; Wayne-Daniel Berard of Mansfield, MA and Donald J. Berard of North Carolina. Genevieve is also survived by her foster daughter Denise ONeil of Lowell MA, 4 grandchildren, 4great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Lorraine Costa of Fairhaven, Peg Nastri of Taunton, and Gerry Ouellette of Taunton.
Visiting hours will be held in the Riendeau-Mulvey funeral home, 467 Bay St. Taunton MA on Friday, September 21st from 9-10:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the St. Jude the Apostle Church at 11AM. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
