Harold J. Dennen

Mr. Harold J. Dennen age 81, entered into rest on August 30th 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Leo and Dorothy Dennen. Harold was raised and educated in Taunton MA and has been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Harold was employed at the Foxboro Company for 15 years and Reed Barton Silversmiths for 29 years. Harolds favorite pastime was enjoying his home and yard which he meticulously maintained. Harold loved spending time with his family, watching old movies and listening to his favorite music. He was a longtime member of the Taunton Rifle and Pistol Club and the Reed Barton Quarter Century Club.

Loving husband of Rita M. (Bouchard) Dennen, beloved father of Michael Dennen and his wife Denise of Cranston RI, Debra Dennen of Nashua NH, Dorothy Malm and her husband Wayne of Chepachet RI, and Donna Couto and her husband Louis of E. Taunton MA and brother of Mildred Telford of Acton, MA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Harold is pre-deceased by his 2 brothers; Leo and Robert Dennen, and his 2 sisters; Dorothy Zurawel and Marion Walsh.

Visiting hours will be on Monday September 3rd from 4-7 PM in the Riendeau Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton MA. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday September 4th at 10 AM in the St. Jude the Apostle Parish, Taunton Ma. Funeral proceedings will start at 9 AM in the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
