Jean Sumstad Obituary

Jean A. (Fernandes) Sumstad of Taunton passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Frederick Fernandes, the late Doris (Jacobs) DeSilvia andthe step-daughter of the lateJohn DeSilvia.

Jean was a lifelong resident of Taunton and attended Taunton Public Schools. She loved Yard Sales and enjoyed spending time at home. She was especially thankful for the bond that she had with her grandson, Joseph and her grand daughter-in-law, Tina.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Lavoie.She was the mother of the late Patricia Thorne and the late Karen Mabrouk of Taunton. Sister of Shirley Rodrigues. Shehad several grand and great-grand-children and two nieces.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:00AM at St. Josephs Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St., Taunton, MA. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
