It is with great sadness that the family of Jocelyn Y. Deschenes announces his passing after losing his battle with a lifelong illness, on Friday June 14th, 2019, at the age of 44. His beautiful soul was brought into this world on July 18th, 1974. He was he was the beloved and cherished son of Susanne (Godard) and Yvon Demers of Taunton.
Jocelyn will forever be remembered by his loving sister, Melanie Leonard, of Ware, MA, his 2 nieces, Emelie Letendre Amanda Leonard, his great niece Rosalie, and his Auntie Renne Jones.
Jocelyn was a tireless and selfless volunteer and would offer a helping hand any chance he could. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. Jocelyn was a parishioner of Valley Chapel in Uxbridge, MA, and a member of the CMA (Christian Motorcycle Association)within the Valley Chapel. He enjoyed playing video games, being near the ocean and most of all, spending time with his supportive and loving family. His indomitable spirit encouraged his family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles. He loved life and lived every day with a smile that would light up the world. He was thankful for everyone in his life and grateful for what he had. Jocelyn made the best out every challenge thrown his way. The family would especially like to express their sincere gratitude to all the friends and caretakers who truly touched Jocelyns life and helped him through lifes journey. Those we love dont go away; they walk beside us every day; Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear. May he fly with angels now.
A celebration of life will be held in Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Rd. Uxbridge, MA01569, This Sunday,June 23rd, 2019,at 11:00 AM. Family and friends arerespectfully invited to attend.
