Penelope A. LaPlante

Penelope LaPlante (Tracy) 61,of New Bedford, October 12, 1957 - November 22, 2018, Passed away after a brief illness at Rhode Island Hospital.
She was the daughter of the Late Joan Elizabeth Tracy (Zwicker). She is Survived by her loving husband of 40 years, David A. LaPlante of New Bedford. One. Sister, Patricia K. Costa and her husband Robert A. Costa Sr. Of New Bedford. A Niece, Tammy Costa Thompson of New Bedford. Several Nieces and Nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She is Preceded by one brother and two sisters, Michael B. Tracy, Pamela Furtado and Joann Tracy.
Penny enjoyed the outdoors, she loved being near the ocean and going for long drives. She took pride in her cooking, cooked as often as she could and always looked forward to trying new recipes. She loved her cat, Chunga. The family would like to give a special Thanks her care givers, Tammy, her two great nieces, Jenna-Lyn Jarvis and Rebecca Jarvis. Lori McLeod and her Nurse Mary Ellen.
At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.
