Susan Murphy

Susan J. Murphy 79, of North Kingstown R.I. passed away peacefully at home May 13, 2019 surrounded by loving friends and family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Boston Massachusetts September 22, 1939 to Paul Murphy and Dorcas Moulson. She is predeceased by her brother Peter F. Murphy. She grew up in Ware, Massachusetts and was a wonderful mother to Denis, his wife Bridget Vaughan of Framingham, Ma. Jonathan Vaughan of Albany N.H. Catherine Smith and her husband Timothy of Middletown R.I. and Michael Vaughan of Conway N.H. She was also a very special friend to Kerrie Vaughan and her son Brady. Her greatest pleasure was her 2 grandchildren Jonathan ( Jack ) and Kathryn ( Kate ) Vaughan who she loved spending time with. She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews and including Kate Hawthorne and her son Jesse who she loved, admired and adored.
She leaves many wonderful friends including Lynn and Art Pappion of Bondsville, Ma.
She leaves a legacy of of love and understanding behind her as she touched the lives of so many everywhere she went. She loved to garden and spend time with her many friends. She now joins her long time love Carl Kelley who she loved sharing her life with in both Georgia and Massachusetts.
She will be missed forever.
Services will be held at Aspen St. Cemetary in Ware, Massachusetts at a later date and will be announced.
