Yvonne B. Richardson

Yvonne B. (Boivin) Richardson, Age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5th 2018. Born on September 30th, 1938 to the parents of the late Euclid and Eva (Dumont) Boivin. She was a lifelong city resident and was educated in Taunton MA. She also attended Rivier college in Nashua NH. Yvonne served in the Holy Union for 9 years and later became employed for the Taunton Public Schools for 17 years. She was a member of the National Educators Association, the Taunton Educators Association, the American Home Economic Association, and the Massachusetts Home Economic Association. Yvonne loved music and had a passion for playing her guitar. She also enjoyed knitting and spending time with her family. She always organized the yearly Boivin family reunions.

Loving sister of Francis Boivin and his wife Alice, Roger Boivin and his wife Irene, Paul Boivin and his wife Diana, Anna Boivin, Eva Thornley, Dora Meier and her husband Ray,Helen LaPlante and her husband the late Wilfred, Irene Boivin and the late Eugene Boivin. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Riendeau-Mulvey funeral home, 467 Bay St. Taunton MA on Tuesday December 11th from 4-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday December 12th at 11AM , in the St. Jude the Apostle Parish. Burial will take place in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Yvonnes name to a charity of choice.
