Alan F. Thurston

 Alan Thurston, age 77, of Taunton, MA, passed away on May 3, 2022 surrounded by family members after a lengthy illness. 

 Alan was born on October 27, 1944, in Taunton, MA.  He attended Taunton Schools and he was married to his beloved wife Linda for more than 40 years.

 He worked as a manager at NAPA/Taunton Auto for over 50 years.  Alan was the "go to" guy for anything automotive and always took the time to help anyone that would ask.

 He loved to go bowling, watching wrestling and loved spending time with his wife and family more than anything else.

 Alan is survived by his loving wife Linda, his sister Barbara Labelle and her husband David, his son Edward and his wife Robin of Taunton, his son Scott Brady and his wife Karin of Dighton, his grandchildren Michael Thurston, Jessie Thurston, Paul C. Brady, "Baby Girl" Courtney Miranda and her husband Tony, Scott Brady, Jr. and "Princess" Erin Brady.  His great-grand children Anthony, Aubrey and Brayden Miranda, his favorite niece Caroline Borges, Arthur Borges, Tammy Rivera and her husband Sal, Kelly and Scott Labelle, Toni Castro, great-niece "rugrat" Megan Beloli and many other nieces and nephews. 

 Also, survived by his BFF Cindy Santos and her husband Ernie Santos (in heaven).

 In addition to his parents Edward and Irene, Alan was pre-deceased by his sisters Priscilla, Nancy and Joyce, and his loved ones in heaven, son Paul D. Brady, Arthur and Brenda Borges, grandchild Ashley Thurston and great-grandchildren Aiden and Adrien Brady. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home,467 Bay St. Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday May 11th from 10:00a.m to 12:00p.m. Burial will follow at Cedar Knoll Cemetery in E. Taunton. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
