Anthony C. Correia Jr.

Anthony C. Correia Jr., age 56 of Taunton, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 after losing his battle with Alzheimer’s.  He was the beloved husband of Kristina (Pontes) Correia.  Anthony was born in Taunton Ma on October 25th, 1967, to the late Anthony Sr. and Albertina (Severino) Correia. Anthony was employed by Pepsi Cola for many years.

He enjoyed vacationing in Disney with his family, working on his firebird and doing yardwork. He also enjoyed gardening with his father-in-law. Anthony loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to his cherished wife Kristina, Anthony is survived by his loving children, Kody and his wife Brittney of Taunton, Lucas and Evan, both also of Taunton. He was a proud grandfather of Gavin Anthony and Hayden Shawn.  He was the brother of Maureen Dion and husband Scott & Toni DeCosta and husband Rob.  He is also survived by his loving in-laws’, Kenny and Kathy Pontes and Kerry and Scott Chicoine, his lifelong friend Alan Hindle, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. members.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony Church, 126 School St. Taunton Ma, next Thursday November 9, 2023 at 10:30am. All family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. The family kindly requests no donations be made, just some prayers for his family.
