Anthony “Iceman” Cordeiro, devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and great uncle passed away unexpectedly at his home in Taunton on January 29, 2026. He was 57 years old.
Born in Fall River on May 29, 1968, to Joy (Fisher) and Joseph Cordeiro. He was raised and educated in Taunton where he spent most of his years. Anthony was a man who lived life loudly, lovingly, and to the fullest. He was deeply passionate about his Family, Friends who he considered Family, Rock & Roll, and WWE Wrestling, He could often be found playing air drums or air guitar whenever a great rock-and-roll song came on. If you glanced at him when the music hit just right, you could count on seeing him in the moment, keeping the beat with a smile that said everything.
Anthony was truly the life of the party. His kindness, generosity, and big heart defined him. He was the type of person who would, and often did, give the shirt off his back. His laugh was infectious, his smile unforgettable, and his presence filled any room he entered.
Tony loved a good game of cards, from the annual family Thanksgiving poker game to our weekly summer Friday night 45 tournaments. He was the self-proclaimed “King of 45” and was always “All In”. Tony was legendary for his storytelling and good-natured banter, which never failed to leave those around him Laughing Out Loud!!! Tony believed in living life fully and unapologetically, and he did just that every single day.
Survived by his beloved daughter, Kayla Daniel, and her husband, Sean, his grandchildren; Emmett and Willow. He is also survived by his siblings; Debra LaCombe, Thomas Cordeiro, and Paul Cordeiro, nieces and nephew; Jennifer Campanirio, Amanda LaCombe, and Cooper Cordeiro; great-nieces and great-nephews; Dylan, Skyelar, Jianna, and Xavier.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Joy (Fisher) Corderio and Joseph Cordeiro, and also his brother-in-law, Ron LaCombe.
Anthony “Iceman” Cordeiro will be remembered for his enormous heart, his love of music and laughter, and the joy he brought into the lives of all who knew him. His spirit lives on in every song that makes us tap our feet, smile, and sing along.
