Armand "Joe" Desrosiers Jr.

Armand R. “Joe” Desrosiers Jr. passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the age of 83.

Joe was born on June 13, 1940, in Taunton, MA, and married Nancy Desrosiers in 1960. Joe spent his career as a teacher and administrator for Taunton, Foxboro and Methuen public schools, and retired with over 43 years of service. He also volunteered for many activities, including Taunton East Little League and the Taunton Boys Club. Joe took pride in making sure his yard and garden were pristine, and he loved spending time watching and talking about Boston sports.

Joe was the son of the late Pearl (Menard) and Armand Desrosiers. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy V. Desrosiers, son Christopher A. Desrosiers and sister Janine Boucher. Joe leaves behind his sister Teresa Derosier (Robert) and three children, Doreen Vogel (Richard), Cheryl Sylvia (Robert) and Michelle Toli. He was also the proud grandfather “Pepe” of Kathryn Rattigan (Christopher) and Kristyn Sylvia, Austin and Miles Toli, Brent and Cody Vogel, Hannah Garcia, Taylor Desrosiers and Timothy Desrosiers, and great-grandfather to Ryan and Emma Rattigan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday October 26, 2023, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 4:00-6:00pm followed by a service at 6:00pm. A Graveside Service will be held on November 3, 2023, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St. Taunton, MA at 10:00am. All family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
