Bernard Cumiskey

Mr. Bernard “Hank” Cumiskey, of Taunton, passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at the age of 97.  He was the husband of 53 years to the late Margaret (Cotter) Cumiskey. Bernard was born in Taunton on March 18th 1925 to the late Mary (Clark) and Bernard Cumiskey.

Hank was WWII Navy Veteran, a great Dad and an amazing family man who enjoyed spending quality time with his family.  He loved watching sports, going to the beach, enjoying cookouts in his yard celebrating birthdays and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Hank was the father of Margaret Vargas and her late husband Kenny, Helen Magnan and husband Raymond, Bernard Cumiskey and wife Patty, James Cumiskey and wife Yvette, Joan King and her fiancé Wayne Cushman, the late Mary Sullivan and husband Mike, the late Judy Jones and her late husband Kenny, and the late Thomas Cumiskey and his wife Angela.  He also leaves behind many grandchildren and other extended family members.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday November 28th from 9:00am-11:00am in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00am in the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
