Beverly J. (Chambers) English

Beverly J. (Chambers) English, age 92 of East Taunton, MA on June 30, 2023 with her family by her side. Loving Mother of Cindy English, Kathy Buckley English, Tim English, Scott English and pre-deceased by her daughter Kris Condon English and husband George F. English. Survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and her lovable companion Bucky. Also survived by her two sisters; Linda Chambre and Gail Chambers.

She graduated from Whitman High School in 1949 and was voted Class Clown. She had a great sense of humor, similar to George. After many years as a homemaker, she started working as a School Crossing Guard. After her husband's George's death, she returned to school at Bridgewater State College. She graduated in 1981 with a degree in Special Education. She worked at the East Middle School in Whitman for many years.

Other jobs that she had were; Energy Auditor, Retail Store Clerk, Real Estate Agent, Insurance Representative and lastly Postal Clerk. She retired in 1996 to spend more time with her family.

She was an excellent homemaker (very meticulous about her housekeeping), prolific knitter/seamstress/crotchetier, accomplished piano player and a baker of all things sweet. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, reading, marshmallow Peeps, Market Basket Italian cold cut subs, lobster rolls and fried clams. She loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She donated to the church and countless charities. She was a communicant of HolvFamily Church in East Taunton, MA.

She suffered from Parkinson's Disease for many years which contributed to her decline. She valiantly fought it for many years.

A private ceremony will be held in August, date is to be determined.
