Bill "Billy" Slavick

Bill “Billy” Slavick passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Mass General Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Michelle (Santerre) Slavick.

Born in Taunton on August 21, 1956 to Stephen and Jeannette (Cote) Slavick. Bill was a lifelong resident and attended Taunton High School. He was a parishioner of (the former St. Jacques) St. Jude the Apostle Parish. Bill loved muscle cars and going to car auctions with his son, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, playing cribbage with family and friends and his bi-yearly trip with close friends to Nordic Lodge. Bill retired from the Department of Corrections as a Lieutenant after 30 years. He loved his dogs and was reunited with his guardian “Big Papi”. He enjoyed walks on the beach and he thoroughly enjoyed standing on his son’s back deck in Colorado watching the sunrise and sunsets.

In addition to his loving wife Michelle, Bill is survived by his sons Dave Slavick and his companion Lynn of Taunton, MA and Mike Slavick and wife AJ of Monument, CO, brothers Steve Slavick and wife Pat, Rick Slavick and wife Kathy, Pete Slavick and wife Tina, his sister Jo-Ann Murphy and husband Mike and his beloved grandchildren Dylan and Madison Slavick, along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 4:00-7:00pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 249 Whittenton St. Taunton, MA at 10:00AM, followed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St. Taunton, MA. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
