Caroline A. Cookson

Caroline Anna Cookson (Carol) of Tiverton, R.I. passed away on May 6, 2020 at the age of 82.

Carol was born in Newport, R.I. to Charles and Gertrude Woodhead (Scheel) on December 4, 1937. She was pre-deceased in death by her husband, William Cookson. Carol worked as a commercial escrow assistant and personal assistant for Chicago Title in Mesa, AZ until her retirement. Carol was a member of The Order of Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, Womens Club and Garden Club. Carol and William spent time traveling in their RV prior to moving to Alaska, New Mexico and Arizona. Carol returned to her home state of R.I. in 2017 to be closer to family and the beach (we think family first, but).

Carol was a warm-hearted woman who loved her family and friends unconditionally. If you didnt know she was 82, you never would have guessed it. This was a woman who loved to participate in life and an occasional glass of wine.

Carol is survived by her daughter; Cindy Hoster (Arnette), son-in-law Walter of Lehighton, PA. Grandchildren, Justine Helman (Hoster), husband Zachary of Morgantown, PA. Nicholas Hoster, wife Danielle of Palmerton, PA along with two great grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
