Christine M. (Francis) Sferruzza

Christine Marie (Francis) Sferruzza, 58, of Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away on February 17, 2026. Born on August 16, 1967, in Boston, Massachusetts, Christine was the beloved daughter of Margaret (O’Brien) Francis of Quincy and the late John “Jack” Francis.

Christine built a meaningful career at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she worked for many years. During her time there, she formed some of her most cherished and lifelong friendships, which brought joy and connection to her life.

A devoted and loving mother, Christine’s greatest pride and joy were her twin daughters, Alecia Marie and Taylor Ann. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being. She was a caring mother whose love knew no limits. She stood firmly beside her children in every circumstance, always defending, encouraging, and supporting them. Her strength was matched only by her compassion, and her family always knew they had someone in their corner. That presence will forever be felt by those she loved. 

Christine was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter Sferruzza; her father, John Francis; and her brother, John P. Ortolano. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Francis of Quincy, who shared a close bond with Christine throughout her life, as well as her twin daughters, Alecia and Taylor Sferruzza. 

After the passing of her childhood sweetheart Peter only eight months ago, her family takes comfort in knowing they are together again 

Christine’s warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched during her lifetime.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, MA 02780. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
