Cindy L. (Leavitt) Tavares

Cindy (Leavitt) Tavares, age 57, passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2024, surrounded by her family in Taunton, MA.

Cindy was a devoted, loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She worked at Hollingsworth and Vose and Leo’s Breakfast Restaurant for many years, where she put a smile on many faces. She enjoyed crafting, shopping, coffee, and laughing with her loved ones. Cindy had a kind heart and enjoyed spending time with those she held dear, including her wonderful dog Chewy. 

She is survived by her daughter, Alexis Tavares, her mother Laureen Correia, her stepparents Patsy Kuklak and Joseph Kuklak, and her siblings, and their spouses, Kelly Ferranti and John Ferranti, Larry Leavitt and Lynn Dusombre, Tracey Cowell, Sharry Leavitt and Scott Horton, and Ralph Leavitt. 

Cindy was an incredible force and remained strong even in the toughest times. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memories will live on. A private service will be held, and all are welcome to share thoughts and memories.
