David E. Chickering

David Chickering, age 78, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the husband and best friend of Joyce A. (Broomhead) Chickering. David was born in Raynham on September 17, 1943 to the late Anita (Cote) and Leonard Chickering. He was self employed, owning Chickering Trucking with his brothers. He was an intelligent man and very hard working. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and wood working.

David is survived by his children, Karen Levesque of Taunton, David Chickering of Middleboro and Cindy Bohning of Halifax, siblings; Louise Wilkins of Taunton, Richard Chickering and wife Barbara of Wareham, Alan Chickering and wife Donna Chase of E. Taunton, Edward Chickering and wife Brenda of Taunton. He also leaves behind his partner Margaret Kirker of Middleboro. He was the loving grandfather of Mellissa Melo and husband Kurt of South Carolina, Ryan and Tyler Bohning of Middleboro, Corey and Shelby Levesque of ME, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his grandson, the late David Lee of PA.
