David Lee Clark, (73), of Dighton Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in his home on March 6th, 2023.
Dave was born to Robert and Ester Clark, on June 20th, 1949, in Salem, Ohio. He grew up in East Palestine, OH, were he engaged in sports and developed an appreciation for music and how things worked. He dutifully served his country with a rank of BT2 in the United States Navy and went on to become a Tool Maker with 40 years of dedicated service at Valentines Tools.
Dave was an active member of the City of Taunton. He was a dedicated soccer coach, and later referee, for many years. He spent a short time in the maintenance department of the Boys and Girls Club of Taunton at the end of his career.
Dave is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane (Belganger), three children Alyssa, Garrett (Julie) and Ryan (Norah) and three grandchildren (Madelyn, Annabella, William). He is also survived by his siblings (all Ohio residents) Cheryl Sansenbaugher (Kim), Becky Amadio (Carmen), Darlene Whelan, brother Russ Clark (Jackie), many cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Dave will be remembered for many things from his skill as a woodworker, volunteering, coaching, and refereeing soccer. From fixing anything broken to always lending a hand, he positively impacted his community and will truly be missed.
Visitation will be on Tuesday March 14,2023 from 5:00-7:00pm at the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home 467 Bay St. Taunton. The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday March 15,2023 at 10:00am at the Riendeau-Funeral Home followed by a burial at Dighton Veterans Cemetery.
