David A. Nuttall Sr.

David A. Nuttall, Sr. of Taunton, MA, age 84, passed away on July 16, 2023 at home while surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.  He was born in Taunton on March 6,1939, son of the late Albert and Alice (Carter) Nuttall. 

David worked in the food service industry. He enjoyed bowling, volunteering as a baseball coach/umpire, attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events, following his beloved Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox and above all, cherished his time with family and friends. David was known for his sense of humor, wit and enthusiasm for life.

David leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Thelma Nuttall and their children; David (Donna) Nuttall of Taunton, Scott Nuttall of Vero Beach, FL, Michael (Alison) Nuttall of Attleboro, Jason Nuttall of Norton and Casey (Carlos) Ibanez of Winter Garden, FL, along with 17 grandchildren. He also leaves his sister Nancy DeSilvia and brother George Nuttall. David was predeceased by his daughter, Cheryl (Andy) Boli of Falmouth, MA and his late brother Albert Nuttall Jr.

Visitation will be held at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, MA on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 from 9:00-11:00am followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11:00am.
