David R. Silvia

David R. Silvia, age 68, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Gregory) Silvia.

Born in Taunton, on April 21, 1955, to John and Geraldine (Dion) Silvia. David was educated in Taunton and a graduate of Taunton High School. David had a career in Communications and was employed by ATC Tech Solutions. He was a gentle soul and would do anything for anyone. David was an avid fisherman and loved telling stories. David loved nothing more than his family, family was his whole life.

In addition to his loving wife Barbara, David is survived by his step-children: Angela Barros and Gregory Martin, his sisters: LouAnn Longo, Virginia Halliley and Judith Thompson, his brothers: John Silvia and Michael Silvia., his grandchildren: Ashlee Barros, Rebecca Barros and Edward Barros and great-grandchildren: Noel Augusto, Aurora Augusto and Eila Gilmore, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
