Debra J. (Gracia) Hayes

Debra “Debbie” (Gracia) Hayes, age 66, of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Kimwell Nursing Home, Fall River, Ma.
She was a longtime companion of the late Gary St. Martin. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late James Gracia, of Taunton and Beatrice (Carlos) Babbitt, of North Dighton. 

Debbie was educated in Dighton schools, and a graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth class of 1974.She served in the United States Airforce. Debbie worked at Princess House and was employed at Triumph Head Start Program of Taunton, Ma. Debbie enjoyed animals, reading, but mostly enjoyed her time camping with Gary.

She is survived by her sisters Joyce Babbitt, of North Dighton, Nancy McCracken, of North Dighton, brothers Jimmy Gracia, of Taunton, Leonard Babbitt and his wife Sharon, of Taunton and Steven Babbitt, of North Dighton. Three beloved grandchildren Cameron, Zachary and Cody, along with aunts and cousins. Debbie was the mother of the late Joseph and Joshua Hayes both of Taunton.

 At the request of the family, the burial will be held privately.
