Delores "Dee" (Cordeiro) Lagoa

Delores M. Lagoa, lovingly known as "Dee", was a woman whose life reflected faith, kindness, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone around her.

Born on April 21, 1942, in Taunton, MA, to the late Manuel Cordeiro and Beatrice (Arnold) Cordeiro. Delores carried the values of hard work, humility, and devotion throughout her life. She passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, after a courageous battle with a brain hemorrhage. Though her earthly journey has ended, the light of her life continues to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Dee was a loving, kind, and funny woman whose presence brought comfort and laughter wherever she went. She had a way of making people feel welcome, valued and understood. Her warmth was not loud or boastful, but steady and sincere, the kind of love that remained present through every season of life. She lived with a generous heart and a spirit that could brighten even the most difficult day

Her life was rooted in Christian faith, and that faith shaped the way she loved, worked and endured. She believed in the goodness of God, trusted in His promises and carried herself with a quiet strength that encouraged others. She understood that life is a gift, that every day is an opportunity to show grace, and that joy can be found even in simple moments. Her faith was not only something she spoke about, but something she lived.

Delores received some college credits, and she brought her determination and diligence into her work in the factory. She understood the value of honest labor and the dignity of doing one's best. Her work ethic was a reflection of her character, and she met her responsibilities with perseverance and pride. She knew that a meaningful life is built not only in great achievements, but also in faithful service, consistency, and the strength to keep going.

Outside of work, Dee found delight in collecting jewelry and in always buying other things that caught her eye. These interests reflected her appreciation for beauty, sparkle, and the small treasures of life. She had a personality that enjoyed the little joys, and she carried that sense of wonder into her everyday living.

Those who knew her will remember not only what she collected, but the happiness she found in life's simple pleasures.

Delores is survived by her beloved soulmate of 50 years, Raymond Lambert Sr. of Taunton; her two sons, Raymond Lambert Jr. of Taunton and Louie Cordeiro of Danville, Pennsylvania; and her sister, Jeanette Williams of Urbana, Illinois. Along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.
