Donald P. Botellio, aged 86, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, with his devoted niece Judith at his side. Born in Hyannis on April 6, 1939, he was the son of the late Antone C. and Mary Botellio. Donald spent his early years in Santuit before relocating with his family to Taunton in late 1942. Most recently, he made his home in Bridgewater.
Mr. Botellio is survived by his brother, John A. Botellio, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Edward, Ernest, George, Robert, and Eugene.
Donald was known for his remarkable memory for dates and his love of music. He enjoyed riding his bicycle, spending time with friends at Dunkin, and watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots on television.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 10:00am-11:00am in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, MA 02780. A Funeral Service will immediately follow in the Funeral Home at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Mayflower Hill Cemetery, 235 Broadway, Taunton, MA.
