Donald J. Viveiros

Donald J. Viveiros, age 69, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025. Born on July 18, 1956, in Rhode Island, he was the beloved son of the late Rose Marie and Charles Joseph Viveiros. Donald was one of four children, brother, Charlie, and sisters, Charlotte and Delores.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Cheryl Viveiros. Donald was a loving father to his son, Justin Viveiros and his wife Jennifer; his daughter, Vanessa Sine and her husband James; his stepdaughter, Carole Medeiros and her husband Robert; and his stepson, Matthew Hooley. He was cherished as a proud grandfather by his four grandchildren: Gage Viveiros, James Sine, Baby Sine, and Kaylee Cumbus.

Donald touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor, and generosity. After recently retiring, he relocated to Florida—a place he fondly called "paradise".  where he embraced each day with gratitude, enjoying time by the pool and basking in the Florida sunshine. His outgoing spirit and kindness quickly earned him the affection of his new neighbors, just as he had touched countless lives throughout his years.

Above all, Donald wished to be remembered for the joy, laughter, and love he shared with family and friends. He was deeply grateful for the memories they created together.

Memorial visitation will be held on November 21, 2025, from 9:00-11:00am in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, MA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cedar Knoll Cemetery, 175 Staples St., E. Taunton, MA.

In keeping with his generous nature, Donald made annual contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
