Donna M. Chase

Donna May Chase, age 70, passed away on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at her home in East Taunton.

Born in Taunton on May 8, 1953, to the late Donald and Eleanor (Champney) Chase. Donna lived in East Taunton and was a graduate of Taunton High School and then went on to graduate from St. Lukes Nursing School. She was a longtime Nurse Manager of the ICU at Morton Hospital in Taunton and also worked at Tristan Medical until her retirement in 2022. Donna enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, loved going to yard sales, attending meat raffles and penny sales.

Donna was the longtime partner of 53 years, to the late Alan Chickering. She is survived by her sisters Barbara J. Flanagan of Taunton, MA, Jennifer S. Chase of Taunton, MA and Laura Palmer of Chico, CA.
Donna was a devoted dog mom to “her boy” Charlie Tuna, she was also like a mother to Kim Toth and her family. She also leaves behind lots of extended Chickering family members and other extended
family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18th, in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 4:00-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 19th,
in the Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Pleasant St. Cemetery in Raynham, MA. All family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
