Donna L. (Cote) Gurney

Donna L. (Cote) Gurney, 82, of Wrentham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Brockton, Massachusetts, on August 8, 1943, Donna was the beloved wife of the late Robert Gurney, with whom she shared many years of marriage and a lifetime of memories.

She was a loving and proud mother to Kimberly Swank, Tammy Dady, and Robert Gurney. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a deeply beloved Nana to David Conti, Ryan Gurney, Alaura Dady, Venassa Swank, Victoria Swank, Kaylee Lindquist, Haley Peterman, and Logan Gurney, and was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren who brought her endless happiness. She was the adored Nana to her grand-pup, Sarge.

Donna found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing the slots, trying her luck with scratch tickets, spending hours playing cribbage and other card games, and getting lost in a good romance novel. She had a spirited personality and a playful sense of humor, never afraid to flip the bird with a mischievous smile, which made those around her laugh and love her even more.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:30am located at Cedar Knoll Cemetery, 175 Staples St., East Taunton, Ma. 

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
