Elizabeth L. (Cevada) Staples

Elizabeth L. (Cevada) Staples,  age 80 of Taunton, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Emily Cevada and the late Joseph Cevada Jr.

Loving mother of the Warren Staples (late), Donna Marshall, John Staples, April Morenos and Kimberly Staples. Elizabeth was also the loving grandmother and great grandmother of many.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and family as much as she could. Elizabeth enjoyed long walks, relaxing on the beach, anything in pink, Elvis Presley and laughing/joking.

Her two famous quotes were “Laughter is the best medicine” and “Peace be with you.” You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts.

A private memorial will be held by the family.
