Felix Hernandez Sr., devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and brother in Christ.
Survived by his beloved wife Maria A. (Carrion) Hernandez of over 50 yrs, his children: Felix Hernandez, Jr. and wife Maria D. Hernandez of Belleville, NJ, Ruben Hernandez and wife Lisa Hernandez of Pennsylvania and David Rodriguez of Atlanta, GA, along with 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 14 brothers and sisters and several nieces, nephews, cousins and all his brothers and sisters in Christ.
Felix was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and moved to NYC at an early age where he met Maria “Tona” Hernandez and started a family. They moved to Irvington, NJ in 1980 where he started working at Mann Kraft and continued for over 35 years. He retired in his mid-60’s and moved to Taunton, Mass where he became a devoted Christian and joined Christian Missionary Church. Felix devoted his time to his family and friends by reaching out daily with his kind words to ensure that everyone was good. He also made sure he watched over his wife to ensure she was well taken care of.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 3:00pm-5:00pm in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton MA. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home on Monday, June, 30, 2025 at 9:00am followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E Britannia St., Taunton. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
