George M. Dunn

Mr. George M. Dunn, of Taunton passed away on December 17th, 2023. He was the husband of the late Susanne (Riendeau) Dunn for over 50 years. George was born in Taunton on May 23rd 1943 to the late Edwin and Dorilla Dunn. 

In his younger years George and Susanne loved the beach and going out dancing. He loved classic cars and going for long drives and was an avid fan of photography. George was a Vietnam Veteran of the united states Army. He was a proud veteran and was honored to be a Purple Heart recipient. 

Survived by his son, George Dunn and his wife, Alice, of Taunton. Daughter, Dorene and her companion Heather Hubbard, of Taunton,  Grandson, Cory Dunn and Granddaughter Cameron Hanning and her husband Brandon. Great granddaughter, Brylee Celina,  Brother Edwin Dunn , of Ca. He was also the brother of the late Thomas and David Dunn. George also leaves many nieces and nephews. 

Memorial visitation for George and his late wife Susanne will be held on Saturday January 6th, 2024 from 9:00am -11:00am, followed by a prayer service at 11:00am. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, 24 Glebe St. Taunton Ma, where they will both be laid to rest together.
