Helen L. (Mros) Follette, age 78, of Taunton, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Gary Follette for 58 years. Born July 28, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Henry Mros and Helen (McCaffrey) Mros. Helen was raised in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School. She then graduated from college at Johnson and Wales University. She worked at Motorola for many years. Prior to her retirement, she worked at Morton Hospital.
Helen loved the simple joys that made life feel full and meaningful. She looked forward to trips to Disney and to the NASCAR races. At home, she especially enjoyed game day, bringing everyone together for laughter, friendly competition, and time well spent. In the warmer months she cherished sitting on her front porch, enjoying the fresh air, the sunshine, and the peaceful moments watching the world go by. She took great pride in her garden each year, carefully growing her tomatoes and cucumbers. Helen was also an enthusiastic sports fan, always cheering on her favorite athletes- Patrick Mahomes and Scottie Scheffler- celebrating their wins as if they were her own. Above all else, Helen treasured time with her family. Being surrounded by the people she loved most was what brought her the greatest joy and comfort in life.
Helen is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Follette of Taunton; her daughter, Nancy (Follette) Cloutier and her husband Robert Cloutier of Dighton, her adored grandchildren, Emily Cloutier and her fiancé Sean Burke of Taunton, Aaron Cloutier of Dighton, Victoria Follette, and Sydney Follette. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Henry Mros Jr. and his son, Henry Mros III of Taunton. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Follette.
Services will be private.
