Hilda (Andrade) Proulx

Mrs. Hilda Proulx, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. She was the loving wife to the late Joseph M. Proulx Sr..

Born in Taunton, on July 26, 1929, to the late Mary (Perreira) and Joseph Andrade. Hilda was a graduate of Taunton High School and worked for Dyecraftsmen Inc. of Taunton and the former St. Jacques Credit Union for many years. She was the former Treasurer of the Caswell Grove Social Club and was also a parishioner at Holy Family Parish in Taunton, MA. Hilda was a kind soul and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

Survived by her daughter Deborah Forrester and husband Douglas, her son Joseph Proulx Jr. and wife Tammy, 3 adored grandchildren; Douglas Forrester, Devon Roman and Megan Proulx and 2 beautiful great grandchildren; Atlas and Zeon Roman. She was survived by her siblings: Leona Savash, Natalie Desrosiers and Frederick Andrade. Hilda was also the sister of the late Theresa Garrido, Mary Moreira, Ethel George, Manuel Andru, Carnation Gaydou and Ida Gross.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 10:00-11:00am, followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11:00am. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
