James "Jim" A. DeMoura

James “Jim” A. DeMoura passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in Brockton. Born June 18, 1936, to the late Mary (Cabral) Areias and Manuel DeMoura. He was the loving husband to Eleanor M. (Hebert) DeMoura for 60 years. James was a lifelong resident of East Taunton. He graduated from Williamsport Tech in PA and later went on to become the Manager for Drywall Masonry in Raynham. He and his wife Eleanor were both dedicated parishioners of Holy Family Parish.

James, always smiling, loved fishing and canoeing. Keeping an MGM coin in his pocket at all times, he also enjoyed gambling and spending time at the casino.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughter; Lynda Grilli of Westwood, son in law; Alex Grilli, brothers; Raymond DeMoura and fiancé Carol, David Demoura and wife Diane, sister, Nancy and husband Edward Lopes, grandchildren; Cameron DeMoura and fiancé Shannon of North Attleboro, Gianna and Roman Grilli of Westwood, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 10AM – 11AM with a Funeral Service at 11AM in the funeral home.
