Jean Marie Webster (Brady), age 87, of Taunton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Lifecare Center of Raynham. She was the devoted wife of the late David Joseph Webster. Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on December 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Regina Catherine (McDonald) and William Brady.
A lifelong resident of Whittenton, Jean was educated in Taunton and was a dedicated parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle Parish for many years. She was well known for her smile as she worked at Putnam’s Hallmark card shop for many years. Jean was renowned for her striking blue eyes and her heartfelt poetry. Jean found great joy in music and dancing, and cherished time spent bowling and gathering with her beloved family.
Jean is survived by her four children: Karen Braga and her husband Nelson of E. Taunton, David Webster and his wife Nanette of E. Taunton, Christopher Webster of NH, and Jeffrey Webster and his significant other Gashia of Mansfield. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Melissa and her husband Jared, Ryan and his wife Sonia, Christopher and his wife Rachel, Bryant and his girlfriend Rachel, Cassandra, Vanessa, Brandon and Nichole. Jean was the great grandmother of eight and two beautiful angels on the way.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, 249 Whittenton St., Taunton, MA. Interment will follow immediately in St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St., Taunton, MA. Expressions of sympathy are welcome to be made in Jeans name to a charity of your choice.
