Jeffrey A. Simmons

Jeffrey A. Simmons, age 44, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Taunton, MA.

Born in Taunton on October 26, 1981, Jeffrey was the beloved son of Richard “Dick” Simmons and the late Patricia (Broderick) Simmons. He grew up in Taunton, where he attended Taunton High School and developed a reputation for his great sense of humor and uplifting spirit.

Jeffrey’s passion for movies and his enjoyment of the casino brought him much happiness, but above all, he was deeply loyal to his family. He participated in family events, always bringing joy and light-heartedness to every occasion. His devotion to his family and significant other was unwavering, and he was known for his genuine kindness and the warm, positive energy he shared with everyone around him.

Survived by his loving father Richard “Dick” Simmons; his son Jaedyn A. Simmons; his brother Rick Simmons; his uncle Gilbert Simmons and wife Carol; his niece Hailey Simmons; his significant other Laura Jean Costova; and many extended family members.

His presence will be sorely missed, but the memories of his humor, loyalty, and great spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Jeffrey’s life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and family.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 19 Kilmer Ave., Taunton, MA at 11:00AM, followed by a burial at St. Francis Cemetery, 24 Glebe St., Taunton, MA. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
