John "Jack" Sheehan Obituary

John “Jack” Sheehan, age 80, of Taunton, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Life Care Center of Raynham. He was the beloved husband of Zenta Sheehan.

Born in Boston, on April 7, 1944, to the late May (Richmond) and John Sheehan Sr.. Growing up John attended Dedham and Easton School Districts. He worked for Local 25 Union with Teamsters for 30 years and enjoyed early retirement at 55. Once retired John enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. Some of John’s travels included Niagara Falls, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. John enjoyed fishing, he loved to read, eat and travel and was also an avid sports fan, especially for the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, but he loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 45 years Zenta, John was the loving father of the late Brian Sheehan and wife Maryanne, Sharon (Manny) Asam and Andrew (Christine) Shevchuk, brother-in-law to Arnie Vips, grandfather of Breanne, Christopher and Isabella and great-grandfather to Brayden and Marilyn, along with many nieces and nephews. John was also the brother to the late Linda Curran and Diane Arnone, in addition to his late brother-in-law Walter Vips.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Calvary Chapel, 1002 Broadway, Raynham, MA 02767.
