Joseph A. Figueira

Joseph A. Figueira, age 66, of Kinard, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

Joseph was born in Taunton, MA in 1958 to Joseph R. Figueira and Mary C. (Lopes) Figueira and attended Taunton High School before relocating to Florida to hone his woodworking skills, ultimately becoming a talented hardwood floor designer and craftsman. Joseph was known for being a kind-hearted, good-humored, generous man who loved his family and was a friend to everyone. He loved animals, enjoyed fishing, and reading the Bible.

 He is survived by his mother Mary C. Figueira, his sisters Rosemarie McCaffrey, Mary Zavash, Carol Moniz, Linda Mackler, and Anita Shannon as well as nephews and nieces.  

 A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 9, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 475 E. Britannia St., Taunton, MA. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
