Joseph Cronin Walker

Joseph “Joe” Cronin Walker, 39, of Fall River MA, loving son, uncle, and brother passed unexpectedly on September 12, 2022. We are devastated by this loss and completely unprepared.

Joe was born on September 27, 1982, to loving parents Frank Walker and Margaret Anderson (Walker) and immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. Joe graduated Sandwich High school in 1991 and went on to attend Salem State University. Joe was a loving and adoring uncle and embraced the role of a father figure with his niece Makayla and his nephew Tyler and stepped up to be there. Joe was passionate about computers, tennis, football, and cooking. His specialty was cooking the turkey for the family on Thanksgiving. Joe loved the comedy of Chris Farley and never missed an opportunity to use his quick wit to make someone laugh. He had a great way of having you laugh at yourself. 

Joe is survived by his father, Frank Walker of Lakeville, MA his mother Margaret Anderson (Walker) and her husband Calvin Anderson of Palm Coast, FL, his brother Erick Currin, his sisters Jennifer Oliveira (Walker), and Juliane Walker, his niece Makayla Walker, his nephew Tyler Stewart, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his animal family Ollie, Henry, Max, and Cocoa. Joe was welcomed into Glory by his grandmothers Margaret Coyne (Nogler), Mary Walker (Cronin) and Ruth Walker (Feeney), his grandfathers Joe Coyne and Francis Walker and his recently passed cousin Benjamin Coyne.  His presence is sorely missed, and his loss is deeply felt. We hope he knew how much he was truly loved.  He had grown so much in recent years, and it is truly a tragedy that he will not be able to share his gifts to the world.  

A celebration of life will be held at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home on September 17, 2022, from 1:00pm-3:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation www2.jdrf.org
