Joseph "Joe" Nardozzo

Joseph “Joe” Nardozzo, 94, of Raynham, passed away on January 24, 2026. He was the loving husband of Rose (Assanti) Nardozzo.

A dedicated roofing contractor, Joe spent decades working on nearly every church in Taunton, leaving a lasting mark on the community through his craftsmanship and pride in his work. He was known just as much for his generous spirit—always giving, even to strangers—as he was for his skill and reliability.

Joe was a boxer in his early years, and that passion never left him. Even long after he stepped out of the ring, he followed the sport with the same intensity and love he had as a young fighter.

Joe is survived by his wife of 71 years, Rose (Assanti) Nardozzo; his children William Nardozzi wife Tonia of Seekonk, Marianne MacDonald husband Jim of North Dighton, and Michael Nardozzi of Raynham. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Cristina Buehrer her husband Mike of Barrington, Rhode Island; Anthony Nardozzi his wife Jessica of North Dighton; Eric MacDonald of North Dighton; and April (MacDonald) Benjamin her husband Jimmy of Medford. Joe was blessed with five greatgrandchildren—Hudson, Ava, and Rocco Buehrer of Barrington, Rhode Island, and Ella and Giada Nardozzi of North Dighton—who brought him immense joy.

Joe’s kindness, work ethic, and quiet generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
