Juan Irizarry

Juan Irizarry, Age 71 of Taunton, passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2019. Juan was the loving husband of Aida Irizarry. He was born in Las Marias Puerto Rico on October 21, 1947. Juan was a longtime city resident and was well known in the community. He was a parishioner of Iglesia De Cristo Misionera in Taunton MA.

Juan enjoyed landscaping, gardening and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a jack of all trades and could fix just about anything. Juan was always there for everyone and never put himself first. If someone needed a helping hand, Juan was always there to help. He was a jokester at times and would really show his comedic side. He was really known for how sweet and humble he truly was. A God-fearing man, Juan was very passionate of his faith and that made him the man and role model he set out to be.

Besides his loving wife Aida, he leaves his 3 Cherished daughters: Nydia Irizarry of Taunton, Damaris Irizarry, also of Taunton and Stacie Lagattuta of CA. He was the brother of Efrain Jimmy Irizarry, Ferdinand Freddy Irizarry, Merida Irizarry, the late Neftali Lee Irizarry and the late Anibal Irizarry. Grandfather of Enrico and Ela Lagattuta. Juan also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be held in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home on Monday, May 6th 2019 from 10-11AM. A funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home at 11AM. Burial will take place in the Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
