Judith A. (Way) Zografos

Judith A. Zografos: October 20,1941 - March 27, 2026

It is with deep sadness that the family of Judith A. Zografos announces her peaceful passing at home, surrounded by her loving family, on March 27, 2026, at the age of 84.

Judith, lovingly known as Judy, was born on October 20, 1941, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Earnest Way and Marion (Bechtold) Way. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through her children: Raymond H. Zografos Jr. and his wife Donna, Steven F. Zografos and his wife Marcella, and her daughter Doreen M. Ferrari, widow of the late Gerald Ferrari. She is also survived by her brother, William Way and his wife Cheryl, and her sister, Carol Morley.

Judy was a devoted grandmother to Brett Zografos, Amanda Rae Rebello, and Sophia Zografos, and the late Steven G. Zografos. She was a proud and loving great-grandmother to Aiden, Xavier, Mateo, Giovanni, and Luccia, all of whom she adored deeply. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Judy had a lifelong passion for education. She earned her master’s degree in both Special Education and General Education and dedicated more than 30 years to teaching in the Boston Public Schools system. She was an active member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Iota chapter for retired teachers.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Judy enjoyed a rich and fulfilling personal life. She participated in various bowling leagues, was an avid painter, and loved to travel. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and friends. Her faith was important to her, and she found great joy in attending church and participating in church fairs and community events.

Judy’s warmth, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside Service in her honor at Blue Hills Cemetery, located at 700 West Street, Braintree, Massachusetts, On Saturday April 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A procession will form in the parking lot across from the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. and proceed together to the gravesite.
