Julie Ann Kay-Coakley, age 76 of Taunton, passed away on unexpectedly March 17, 2023. Born in Dorchester on November 22, 1946, to Harry and Irene (Kelley) Kay.
Julie had been a Taunton resident for the last 26 years. Prior to her retirement she was a school bus driver, an EMT and a member of the Taunton Elks. She enjoyed traveling, the beach (especially Myrtle Beach), her pets, spending time with friends, watching her tv shows HGTV, Antique Shows and Fox News. Some of her favorite foods included steak tips, pizza and beer.
Survived by her beloved husband of 23 years Paul Coakley, daughters Heidi Black and Alicia Crockett, son Sean Roberts, stepsons Rick Coakley and Robert Coakley, stepdaughters Shanna Behrje and Anne Soares, sister Nancy Kay and two grandchildren Matthew P. Black and Madison K. Black. Julie was also the sister of the late Peter Kay.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 27, 2023 from 4:00-8:00pm at the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday March 28, 2023, at 10:00am in St. Ann Church 675 N. Main St, Raynham, MA, followed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery 475 E. Britannia St. Taunton all family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
