Juliette Marie (Bedard) Moura

Juliette Moura passed away on September 8, 2022 after a brief illness.  Known for her love of her family, ability to make friends and her sense of humor, she lived life to the fullest in her 87 years.

Born to Paul and Simone (Fortin) Bedard, Juliette was predeceased by her loving husband Dr. Robert (Bob) Moura. She will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses – Karen Rafanelli and husband Anthony, Sharon Powell and husband Terry, Kevin Metheny and wife Cecelia Brelsford. 

The ones she will miss the most are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  John Rafanelli and his children Olivia and Damien, Matthew Rafanelli and wife Alexia, and Lyla Metheny (her partner in frivolity!).

Juliette is also survived by her sister Rita Lizotte, brother Eugene Bedard and his wife Jeanette, and several nieces and nephews.

As recently as two weeks before she died, Juliette was attending live music shows (Matt Bernier was her favorite!) and driving around in her Mini Cooper. She was not elderly in mind and found the world to be an interesting and fun place.  She was known for the parties she held and unusual events (parades around the pool!) that she organized.

She’ll be in our hearts…always.
