Obituary
Kathryn (Katie) Anne Lima, age 47, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday August 06, 2023.
Born in Taunton on January 27, 1976, to James Lima and the late Patricia (Cavaco) Lima of East Taunton.
Katie was a lifelong resident of East Taunton and received her education in Taunton and graduated from Katharine Gibbs College in Rhode Island. She worked for the visiting nurses of Fall River as a nurse’s coordinator for many years. Katie enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, her pets, gardening, reading, going to the beach and spending as much time as she could with her nieces.
Katie is survived by her father James Lima, sister Nancy Menard, brother-in-law Daniel Menard, sister Karen Conway, her nieces Mandy and Beth Menard all of East Taunton and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Katie was also the daughter of the late Patricia (Cavaco) Lima and sister to the late Mary Beth Lima.
A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Katie’s honor to a charity of your choice.
