Laurie A. (Prouty) Phillipe

Laurie A. (Prouty) Phillipe, 52, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Laurie was a fighter throughout her entire life. Born deaf and facing countless health challenges, including multiple strokes and serious illnesses, she endured more than most people could ever imagine. Yet despite everything she faced, Laurie continued to give her love so freely. She would do anything for the people she cared about and had a heart that always put others before herself.

Laurie found her greatest happiness in her family and the simple moments they shared together. She loved all things Disney, and some of her family’s most cherished memories were made together at Walt Disney World, one of her favorite places. She also loved watching Hallmark movies, celebrating the holidays surrounded by the people she loved, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Cookie and Hershey, who were rarely ever far from her side.

Laurie will be remembered for her incredible strength, her caring heart, her generosity, and the unconditional love she gave to the people around her. Her life was not defined by the hardships she endured, but by the love she continued to give despite them.

Laurie is survived by her children, Molly, David (DJ), and Kira; her husband, David; her mother, Linda; her sister, Leanne; her grandchildren, Jordan and Julian; and her many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will carry her memory with them always.

Though Laurie’s life was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 10:00am-11:30am, with a Memorial Service to follow in the funeral home at 11:30am. A Celebration of Laurie's Life will continue at the VFW - American Legion Post#405, 291 Mill St., Raynham, MA from 12:00pm-3:00pm. All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
