Luis "Junior" A. Perez

Luis A. “Junior” Perez, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 11, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Milagros Perez.

Born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico on March 26,1952, to the late Emma Medina and Luis Perez.  Junior, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Those who knew Junior will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. He loved watching old Cowboy Shows, Forensic Files and especially the Red Sox, as he was an avid fan. Junior also enjoyed his favorite beverages, tomato juice and ginger ale.  His greatest passion in life was his family, as he was an amazing father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.

In addition to his beloved wife Milagros, Luis is survived by his children: Teddy and his wife Allison, Joel, Luis, Alexander, Jose and partner Lizzi, Anthony, Christopher and wife Jasmine, Diana and husband Edilberto and Jahaira and fiancé Brian. His siblings: Norma, Pedro, Bethsaida, Olga, Luis A., Janette, Eduardo, Ricardo, Waleska, Monica and Diego, his adored grandchildren: Nina, Ediliana, Christopher Jr., Jose Jr., Jenelle, Stephanie, Shakira and Teddy Jr., and two great-grandchildren Na’Zayah and A’Layna, along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 5:00-8:00pm in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in the Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Mayflower Hill Cemetery, 235 Broadway, Taunton, MA.  All relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
