Lynda K. (Terry) McGrath

Lynda K. (Terry) McGrath, age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Life Care Center of Raynham. She was the loving wife of the late James C. McGrath and was also a loving companion to the late John F. Noonan.

Born in Boston on January 15, 1940, to the late Pauline (Jordan) and Melvin Terry. Lynda was raised and educated in Boston, MA. She worked at Raynham Dog Track, the Brockton District Court System and the Bridgewater Fire Department. Lynda was an artist and created “Melvyn the Mouse”. She had artwork displayed at the Museum of Fine Arts. Lynda was a den mother to Den 5 Pack 35 and a pen pal to many children. She loved to travel, take pictures and all kinds of photography, but she loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends.

Survived by her sons John C. McGrath and wife Lauren of Brighton, MA, Steven M. McGrath and wife Cheryl of Taunton, MA, her brother Melvin Terry and husband Geert Botzen of Oakland, CA, beloved grandchildren Chris McGrath, Denis McGrath and wife Adrianna, Sarah McGrath, Sabrina McGrath and Eric Dowling, along with 2 great-grandchildren Julian McGrath and Jackson McGrath along with as several nieces and nephews and other extended family and close friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St. Taunton, MA from 4:00-7:00pm. Burial will follow on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00am at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave., Boston, MA 02130. All relatives and friends are welcome to meet at the Funeral Home at 9:30am on Saturday to drive in precession to the cemetery or you can meet us directly at the Cemetery at 11:00am.
